FRUSTRATIONS ABOUND

On Wednesday, I wrote most of the blog, intending to add to it and post it this morning.  Naturally, I didn't follow my instincts and back it up.  I couldn't get into it this morning, and when we sent a Tech guru to try, the Tech reported that access to the site was gained using the login and password we produced, Word Press had not saved what I'd written. Extremely disappointing.  I may have to continue using this Blogger site for the foreseeable future, which displeases me greatly.

It's been another cold week here and we had more snow, cancelling schools yet again.  Even the Bean's Doll Club was cancelled.

To distract us, she mentioned that moving means figuring out where things will go in the new digs, including Smidge's apartment and my Breadbox.  She had told us we were coming for sure, but until now we hadn't thought about where we might live in the Condo.

She had recently brought her first very large dollhouse to Richmond, and it was smack dab in the middle of the doll room.  It's HUGE.  She said this would be going to the Condo, but there might not be room enough for all the other assorted homes and such.  We could just pack up and see how it worked out, or we could plan now to move into THE BIG HOUSE and share it, we being Smidge, Kele, and me.

She suggested we tour the house, so on Thursday, that's what we did.  The place is spacious, four giant rooms, back door with steps and front door with porch and steps.
This is the room that Kele and I would share, and also where I would work.

The living room/dining room

Hey, is that my head in the upstairs window?

As you can see, it's partially furnished, but we have our own things we'll want to bring along.  It's not in bad shape for a really old house...need a few shingles, a place for me to work and for Smidge to nurse her clients... And there was a friendly dog hanging out on the porch when we arrived.

It may need some upgrades and rehab (there is currently no bathroom), but we like it.

What do you think?
